How Credits Are Purchased

Credits vs Subscriptions

This distinction trips some new resellers up. Credits are your inventory — they sit in your balance until you use them. Subscriptions are what you create with them — they are the actual customer accounts. You can have 200 credits in your balance and zero active subscriptions, or zero credits in your balance and 50 active subscriptions (all still running from previous credit usage).

Do Credits Expire?

Check with your specific platform, but in most credit-based models, purchased credits do not expire — you can hold them until you need to create or renew subscriptions. Active subscriptions expire on their set end date regardless of your credit balance.
