IPTV Reseller

How Does IPTV Reselling Work?

IPTV reselling works by sitting between the content delivery infrastructure and the end customer. The reseller purchases credits in bulk, uses a reseller panel to allocate subscriptions, and manages customer accounts — all without needing to build or maintain the streaming technology themselves.

The Credit-Based System

The foundation of the reseller model is credits. A reseller purchases a credit package — for example, 200 credits — and then uses those credits to create customer subscriptions. One credit equals one month of one subscription.

So if you create a 3-month subscription for a customer, three credits are deducted from your balance. A 12-month subscription costs 12 credits. The 6-hour trial subscription costs zero credits. Your credit balance decreases as you create subscriptions and replenishes when you buy a new package.

Credit breakdown50 credits = up to 50 one-month subscriptions, or 4 twelve-month subscriptions, or any combination in between.

The Reseller Panel

Everything happens through the reseller panel. This is a web-based dashboard where you log in to create accounts, allocate subscription durations, check your credit balance and monitor active subscriptions. You can see when subscriptions are due to expire and renew them by deducting more credits.

The panel removes the need for manual tracking. Instead of maintaining a spreadsheet of customer subscriptions, everything is visible in one place.

Step-by-Step: How a Reseller Creates a Subscription

  1. Log into the panel — access your reseller dashboard with your credentials
  2. Create a new account — set up the customer account within the panel
  3. Select duration — choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months (or the 6-hour trial)
  4. Confirm — the credits are deducted and the subscription becomes active
  5. Provide credentials — give the customer their login details to access the service

What the Customer Sees

From the customer’s perspective, they receive login credentials and access to the IPTV service. They do not interact with your reseller panel directly. Your role is to manage the account on their behalf — creating it, renewing it when it expires, and handling any account-related queries.

How Resellers Make Money

The reseller sets their own pricing for end customers. If your credit cost works out at approximately £1.75 per credit (at the 200-credit package level), you might sell 1-month subscriptions to customers at whatever price the market supports. The difference between your cost per credit and what you charge customers is your margin.

There are no guaranteed profits. The reseller model requires you to acquire and retain customers independently. The panel gives you the infrastructure; the business side is your responsibility.

The Sub-Reseller Option

For resellers operating at larger volume, purchasing the 500 or 1000 credit packages unlocks the sub-reseller option. This allows you to create accounts for sub-resellers beneath your main account — effectively building a small reseller network that you manage.

The 200-credit package and below do not qualify for sub-reseller access. Sub-reseller access is only available on purchases above 200 credits.
